CIP refers to Carbon In Pulp requiring you to then screen your carbon out of the pulp after it is loaded. Although this is a cheaper method the likelihood exists that you can lose some of your fine carbon that contains gold

CIL refers to Carbon In Leach does not require you to then screen your carbon out of the pulp after it is loaded as its contained in its own vessel with the leach being pumped through it. This vessel can be housed in its own housing referred to a a carbon column

This is really a preference of you the miner. What we have found using air agitation is a higher level of dissolved oxygen in the reagent solution speeding up the retention time or rather the time it takes to dissolve the gold.
